Scratch Build Chassis Revival

Welp, I went all in on this one—decided to give my oversized Motorific wrecker a full scratch-built chassis makeover. This beast is rocking a 1/32+ scale, towering over my 1/43 slot cars like a true heavyweight.

The original transmission? Yeah… not exactly thrilled with anything beyond two AA batteries. The gears were slipping like crazy—pretty sure age and plastic fatigue were the culprits. So I ditched the rear stock chassis setup, where had grafted a front slot chassis to the original Motorific.
 
But figuree was time for some old-school scratch building. Dug into my spare parts, got out the soldering iron, and by the weekend, it was rolling again.
Took it out to my dirt-themed test track in garage (since it’s way too chunky to make it under the overpasses on my 1/43 layout in house), and gave it some proper runtime. Despite its size and vintage vibes, this wrecker rips, and bounces around the track like a champ.

And the body? Pure retro slot car gold. It just screams cool.
