Another One Saved from the Shelf!
 
Welp, here we go again—another rescue mission! This time, I got my hands on a 1960s Ideal Motorific truck body that had been collecting dust on someone’s shelf for who knows how long. But not anymore! Now, it’s tearing up the track as a fully converted slot car truck!
This one’s been modded to fit a 1/43 chassis and runs like a dream. Did a little touch-up on the side chrome, and instead of hacking up the wheel wells, I found some proper 1/43-scale wheels, gave them a fresh chrome treatment, and—bam!—it’s looking sharp.
I’m kinda proud of this build—gives me serious T-Jet truck vibes, but now it’s rolling in 1/43 scale, ready for some high-speed track shenanigans.
