Saga of the Motorific Resurrection: Latest Chapter

Rolled off another Motorific conversion this week — and if I do say so myself, it's outstanding work!
This little Lincoln was a forgotten relic: a 1/43 scale Ideal Motorific car, lost in a dusty box somewhere, until I snagged it in an eBay auction. It arrived tired, battered, and silent — but now? It's ALIVE.

This past year - I've made it my mission to rescue these old Motorific battery cars, and breathe new life into them — not just as shelf queens, but as fully functional slot cars, tearing around the track like they were born for it.
This latest build marks my 13th successful Motorific-to-slot car conversion — and honestly, every single one still feels like a mini miracle.

It’s wild to think — these toys were once simple battery bump-and-go cars, just rode around a slot with no real controls.

Now they're flying around proper tracks alongside modern slot cars, still holding their own like champs!
There's something magic about it — like restoring a piece of history, but also making it better!
